Axon' Cable offers test benches which control MIL-STD-1553 data bus networks. They check that the MIL-STD-1553 data bus networks have been properly cabled and have not been damaged during installation.

Axon' has developed 2 versions, a mobile test bench and a hand-portable test bench.

Both use the same software and carry out the same tests.

Construction

• Mobile test bench
  Compact test bench made up with two independent modules (receptor & generator) working with a battery and a remote terminal unit.
• Hand-portable test bench
  Made up with a rugged PC, 2 modules (receptor and generator), batteries and a communication module.
  Especially designed when space available is limited.

Types of control

• Resistance test (bus & stub).
• Polarity test.
• Attenuation test.
• Insulation test.
• All the results are displayed on the screen and can be registered with a USB stick.
