Axon’ Nano-D connectors qualified to the MIL-DTL-32139

Axon’ Nano-D connectors are officially qualified to the MIL-DTL-32139. This standard dictates the design and performance for Nano-D connectors. With 0.635 mm (.025") contact spacing, Nano-D connectors are an ideal solution for applications which require extreme miniaturization, space or weight saving and reliability.

High quality nano-D connectors

This qualification includes male and female pigtails with 9,15 ,21,25,31,37 and 51 ways. They are made with shells of different materials including aluminium with nickel plating, stainless steel or titanium.  The QPL certified nano-D pigtails offered by Axon’ Cable are manufactured with 30 AWGwires. Smaller gage wires can be considered.  These products are specially designed for defense and aeronautics applications.

A large range of nano miniature connectors

Axon’ nano-D product range is much larger than the references listed in the MIL-DTL-32139 standard. It includes pigtails, PCB thru-hole and PCB surface mount which have been successfully tested by a US QPL-certified laboratory.  Nanominiature connectors are based on the highly reliable Twist Pin contact technology with 0.635 mm (.025") contact spacing, rated for 1 AMP.  Nano-D connectors are half the size of micro-D connectors. They can be used for applications including aerospace, defense, offshore and research centres.

In addition to nano-D connectors, Axon’ has developed unique High Density Micro-D connectors by putting nano contacts and nano pitch spacing into an existing micro shell.  They use the same fitting tools as micro-D connectors. High Density Micro-D connectors employ the same reliable components and raw materials as Micro-D products. These very compact connectors also comply with MIL-DTL-32139 performance characteristics.
