On the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work on 28 April, Axon' Cable will present Hygie Prevention, its Autonomous Occupational Health and Prevention service, to company directors, journalists, professional partners, national education representatives and officials. This day is organised under the auspices of the President of the Grand EST Region, Mr Frank Leroy. The visit of the Minister for Health and Prevention, Dr François Braun, is also expected.
Digitalising for better prevention
Having one of the best occupational health services in the world is the objective of the President of Axon' Cable, Joseph Puzo. One of the ways to achieve this is to digitalise the health and prevention check-up of employees. The idea is that the various health professionals - including the Hygie Prevention medical team - who work with the employee should be able, with the latter's agreement, to access his or her medical data (DMST). The aim is of course to ensure the best possible follow-up. Hygie Prevention's health professionals are also responsible for assessing the risks to which employees are subjected and listing them in the Single Occupational Risk Assessment Document (DUERP). Actions are then put in place in order to limit Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) for example. How can this be done? By adapting the workstation so that it is more ergonomic, for example. The Hygie Prevention department therefore works closely with Axon' Cable's Human Resources department, the Quality department and the Research & Process department, which will intervene on the workstations to improve their functionality and ergonomics.
Screening and support
In the event of a long-term illness, it is important to maintain the link with the employee and to encourage the person to return to work. Several avenues are possible: adaptation of the job, change of job, therapeutic part-time work or even a supervised trial to assess the employee's aptitude. Here again, Hygie Prevention's health professionals are there to support employees. The early detection of Pathologies Without Perceived Symptoms (PSSR) is also one of Hygie Prevention's essential missions. With the help of the Axocare® health and prevention software package and various adapted examinations, Axon' Cable's occupational physicians will be able to detect, for example, pre-diabetes, cardiovascular problems, etc.
"I'm watching over you”
On the occasion of this day, Pierre Baudéan, a contemporary artist who combines structure and light, will present sculptures related to the theme of occupational medicine. The guests of this day will be able to follow a path made up of allegories. The sculptures will evoke the human body in the practice of a sport, in its environment and its link with the animal world. All this will be punctuated by "bridges" evoking the importance of monitoring our health.
